I love the Zurb Foundation Framework, finding it infinitely better than Twitter Bootstrap but last year I ended up relenting and using Bootstrap for some projects for one simple reason: the sheer number of resources available for it.

Zurb Foundation 5 was recently released, making it even better that Bootstrap and to that end I’ve decided to try and help the movement by compiling a list of Zurb Foundation 5 resources.  If you’re looking for an overview or Foundation 5 or deciding whether or not to use it, I’d recommend checking out:

Easy Start Foundation 5 ThemeThis is a round-cornered, light-hearted suitable as an ready to go theme for a non-corporate small enterprise.

Theme only comes with a couple of sample layouts so probably isn’t suitable for large scale websites.

What I love most about it is it’s been – it feels very snappy on all devices, it scales well and is well structured.  It comes with 11 Photoshop source filed for customization.

Akin is a simple Parallax theme built on Foundation 5.  Its beauty lies in its simplicity and the author has left everything fairly naked.  While perfect for using as a baseline, note that the theme comes with minimal ‘extras’ and no supporting design files.

Advocator Foundation 5 WordPress ThemeAdvocator

The advocator theme is a beautifully simple and elegant theme with the authors having managed to avoid the pitfall of adding lots of whistles bells but still managing to ensure it looks much more than just a glorified vanilla foundation.

While not great for general use, the Legislator theme is great for anyone looking to drive a message, campaign or make any other statement with impact.  From the same authors as the Advocator theme, it is well built and come with 6 colour variations right out of the box.
